I immediately thought of the pleats I used to add to my gift wrapping. I don’t really do it anymore since my older nephews & nieces prefer money & the young ones could care less how the wrapping looks. I have never done it on a card and this was the perfect opportunity to try it.
I scored & folded the blue cardstock and then masked off each area before stamping & heat embossing. I did have to do some math to figure out the scoring but nothing that required a calculator. I used super strong double-sided adhesive to tape the pleats flat on the backside before adhering to the card base. I chose to use the pink with the other colors in honor of breast cancer awareness month. Some die cutting, flower rolling and bling and I was all done. I’m so happy this turned out the way I had imagined!
