Tonight is the deadline for the Stamp It! Cards Week challenges and surprise, I didn’t get a chance to make more cards. So I dug through my stash of passed-over submission cards to link up. Please forgive me, Cath, for putting all of these in one post!
First up is the Birthday Challenge. I used Hero Arts Newspaper Skyline and Wish Big stamps and the masking technique. The rest of the sentiment inside reads, “it’s your BIRTHDAY!”
Next up is the Congratulations Challenge and I used PTI’s Chair-ished & Tiny Tags sets and paper-piecing. The silhouette stamps from the Tiny Tags set make me think of wall hangings so I decided to create a little scene with them. Almost forgot, the sentiment is from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings. And if you are like my hubby and you are wondering why I have a living room scene for a congrats card, I was thinking about ’congratulations on your new home.’
And lastly, we have a card for the Love Challenge. I found a wall hanging with all kinds of punny sentiments on Pinterest and it inspired me to create this little number. The flip flops are from Hero Arts Lauderdale Sunshine set and the papers are from Basic Grey’s Picadilly line.
