Hello, hello!  I’m popping in at the last minute to share my interpretation of the Tuesday Trigger: Fancy Schmancy.  I’m always inspired by the colors in the pics and today is no exception.  I also incorporated the doily underneath all those yummy petit fours and the little pearls on top.  I’ve used lots of Hero Arts goodies on this card (Butterflies & Lace, Everyday Sayings, blush layering paper and the 3 Silhouettes die cut) for the February Contest.

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #15/FTL 153 made me think of my new PTI Half & Half set that I had not inked up yet.  Here’s the sketch & the inspired colors from the Play Date Cafe Challenge #94:
The sentiment is from Sending Smiles Messages & the butterflies from Butterflies & Lace, both by Hero Arts.  I had originally intended to stamp the butterflies directly onto the card but could not find any teal ink in my stash.  So I went with the next best thing – clear embossed butterflies on teal cardstock.  Actually I like it better this way so it all worked out.
My hubby and I celebrated our 13th anniversary yesterday.  Here’s a picture of us from our wedding day:

So many wonderful memories from that day!  We’ve certainly had our ups & downs but I could not imagine sharing this life with anyone but Joseph.  I hope God blesses us with many more years together!

Definitely a unique color combo for this week’s Play Date Cafe Challenge!  I started my card before I saw the new challenge actually.  I was playing around with color layering and had stamped the turquoise & brown & added the bow but didn’t like how the card looked so I set it aside.  Then when I saw the challenge colors, I knew the red & orange would complete my design.
